Vote For Slugger To Be Inducted Into The Mascot Hall Of Fame

Portland Sea Dogs mascot, Slugger, has been nominated for the Mascot Hall of Fame. Slugger came to visit AJ & Nikki in the HOM studio to give us the scoop on how to vote for him. He is up against some fierce competition, so he needs all the help he can get. He is one of 19 mascots chosen by the Mascot Hall of Fame Executive Committee for consideration, according to the press release from the Sea Dogs baseball team. We also learned that there are currently no Minor League Baseball mascots in the Hall of Fame.

You can vote for Slugger now through October 12th at www.mascothalloffame.com/thevote. Be sure to vote once a day to better his chances of getting to the next round of voting.
