ANTM fans may have been rooting for Rita Ora as the show's newest host (WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU), but series creator Tyra Banks is reclaiming her Top Model throne, according to Entertainment Tonight

Banks, who hosted the show for 22 seasons before Ora took over for the most recent Season 23, said in a statement that she decided to return simply because she missed serving as ANTM's moderator. She remained part of Season 23's behind the scenes, but said production roles just weren't the same.

"I’m overwhelmed and humbled by the intensity of the ANTM fan base whose deep affection for the show led me to have a change of heart," Banks said. "After giving it a lot of thought, I realized that remaining behind the camera wasn't enough because ANTM is woven into my DNA."

Ora didn't seem to be too upset, though, and wrote "I love you" to Banks on Twitter after the announcement.

Twenty-year-old India Gants of Seattle was named the winner of the show's most recent season. Gants famously got her hair dyed purple on the show's popular makeover episode and routinely finished episodes with the show's highest scores.

Banks will have a lot of TV on her plate through 2017 — she was also named the new host of America's Got Talent earlier this month after Nick Cannon dramatically quit the production.
