People are a product of those who raise them, but it is not JUST parents who help raise children.

I think it is safe and obvious to say that school systems have an enormous impact on children.

Think of your youth. You probably can think of a few teachers, elementary school moments, etc., that have shaped you.

That said, school systems are critical to the development of children. Sure, private schools may have a greater impact on the development of education; however, not everyone can afford the private school cost for a first grader, and public school systems should be able to mold and educate youth to a high standard.

Wallet Hub conducted a survey to find the state with the best school system. "It accounts for performance, funding, safety, class size and instructor credentials," according to the study. "To determine the top-performing school systems in America, WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 32 key metrics."

Below is a map of the results.

As you can see, a few New England states did really well.

Massachusetts was ranked the best school system in the entire United States. They had the highest reading and math test scores, and tied for second with the highest ACT scores.

Not far behind was New Hampshire, ranking as the sixth-best school system. The 603 ranked fourth best in pupil-to-teacher ratio, fourth in reading test scores, and fifth for ACT scores.

Weirdly enough, New Hampshire had the third-highest bullying rate in all of the states.

An argument could be made that the more you spend, the better the state's school system.
