Another chain restaurant is officially closing in Maine due to economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic. Tilted Kilt joins a few other national chains in shuttering locations in Maine. Several weeks ago, Ruby Tuesday pulled the plug on several of their locations statewide. Two weeks ago, Krispy Kreme closed down their only two Maine locations in Saco and Auburn.   Tilted Kilt opened more than five years ago in their South Portland location at 200 Gorham Road. The national chain is known for the U.K. inspired pub feel and kilt-wearing wait staff.
