TikTok Video Lists Things That Would Send Non-Mainers Into A ‘Coma’
Not sure if "coma" is the right choice of words, but she makes some pretty great points about the state of Maine.
A TikTok user named abmf2101 has put together a funny set of videos that 100% break down what makes Maine so unique. My only distraction watching them, was the weird voice filter that some people use on their clips, but oh well.
Titled "Things From Maine That Would Send People Not From Maine Into A Coma" is wordy, but effective!
In Part 1, she talks about our vulgar obscene license plates that have been out there on the roads the last few years, the infamous "MILF MOBILE" that you may have seen cruising around the state, the LL Bean Boot Mobile, and the declaration that anyone who loves above Lincoln, survives on only blueberries and potatoes.
@abmf2101 We really are a different beeed up here #maine #newengland #greenscreen #fyp ♬ original sound - abmf2101
Part 2 takes a look at our obsession with food festivals, just off the top of my head, these ones come to mind:
Maine Whoopie Pie Festival
Maine Red Hot Dog Festival
Moxie Festival
Maine Lobster Festival
The Maine Cheese Festival
The very intriguing, and somewhat disturbing Wild Blueberry Land in Columbia Falls, and of course, you can't forget the Paul Bunyan Statue in front of the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor!

Part 3 shouts out a place I have long loved, the one and only McMansion in Freeport, yes, it's that McDonald's in a house! Plus, the crazy Hussey's General Store in Windsor, which has the classic outdoor sign that reads "Guns, Wedding Gowns, Beer", the wacky, but loveable, Perry's Nut House in Belfast. And finally, a comment on Maine Townships with unmemorable monikers like T5R17
@abmf2101 The sad thing is I could make about 50 of these videos and not run out of Maine oddities... #maine #newengland #greenscreen #fyp ♬ original sound - abmf2101
And finally, Part 4 breaks down the terrifying mystery of the Auburn Walmart pole, which has been the cause of over 100 accidents and counting, the World's Largest Inflatable Lobster, named Larry, who is 70 feet long, 12 feet high, and weighs 700 pounds, and sits atop the Taste of Maine restaurant in Woolwich, and last but not least, the iconic Duck of Justice, at the Bangor Police Department.
@abmf2101 so much stuff, so little time. Welcome to Maine, folks #maine #newengland #fyp #greenscreen ♬ original sound - abmf2101
Hopefully, there are more to come, because they are very entertaining!
