At Christmas time it's only normal to think about your family and friends. Think about who you will spend time with, who you will visit and those that don't have any family. For me personally, this time of year is very hard due to my family status. Every year it gets easier for me. And, it is so nice to have friends that care and invite me to their celebrations. But, there is something that most of us don't think about at Christmas time. Animals in the shelters. Animals in those shelters spend Christmas Eve and day locked in a cage. Not much human interaction because it's a holiday. But, last night, I was reminded about those furry friends that deserve love on Christmas too. Thank you to WGME 13 for sharing the touching story about a 'North Woods Law' star and his wife, having a Christmas sleepover Harvest Hills animal shelter in Fryeburg, Maine. Warning: You may cry with this one. Grab a tissue.
