Yes, the World’s Largest Taco Festival is in New Hampshire
This is a taco lover's dream festival, and it's back on May 4, 2023. We get to take our taco-eating skills to an entirely new level and love every minute of it with festive fun and music. The world's largest taco tour festival admission is free in Manchester, with more than 70 restaurants involved in the crazy, unique, or simply perfect taco.
It's called Taco Tour Manchester, and it returned last year for the first time since 2019 with all the excitement you'd expect and then some, with the annual tradition back on track now. Since 2011, this May festival in the Queen City has grown annually into one of the biggest and best festivals in New England, with just 2020 and 2021 cancelled for obvious reasons.
Taco Tour Manchester will shut down Elm Street and side streets on Thursday evening, May 4, so we can eat the night away with a bonkers amount of choices for our taco-loving taste buds, and enjoy our favorite drinks.
Let the salivating begin, as I'm sure it already has for the over 30,000 people expected to stroll downtown Manchester according to the Manchester Chamber, where each signature taco is just $3.
Taco Tour Manchester is that one night each year where restaurants and venues that want to participate ALL serve tacos. No matter the restaurant cuisine and style, most figure out how to create tacos while flaunting their restaurant. How scrumptious is that? Save up that appetite so you can taste test like crazy as you amble from restaurant to restaurant lining Elm, all offering up incredible, mouthwatering tacos.
All the restaurants set up tables, booths, and food trucks on the street for easy access. This four-hour festival kicks off at 4pm, so plan to leave work a bit early that day, and for goodness sakes, try to skip breakfast and lunch to save up.
The creators of this massively delicious festival include The Greater Manchester Chamber in collaboration with the Manchester Economic Development, with shuttles and trolleys to get you to and from parking lots. Also, get ready to vote for your favorite taco of the night. The chamber says that winning restaurants get $1000 to donate to a charity of their choice, and of course, bragging rights with the Golden Taco Trophy.
