If you are looking for something fun and educational to do with the kids this summer. how about going on a nature walk? Better yet. How about a walk in the woods that tells a tale? The Story Walk is back at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine.

The pages from children's books are displayed in sequence along the trail so young readers can enjoy a story in the great Maine outdoors. This also might make the hike seem not so bad if the kids aren't generally into going for walks.

Maybe this excursion could happen without the littler one's begging to be picked up since they'll be focused on the story.

They might actually be excited to head further down the trail to find out what happens next.

This is a description of the event that was posted last year on their official Facebook page.

We just checked back and learned that the free Story Walk returns for the 2021 summer season along with lots of other reasonably priced activities to join in on.

It is suggested that you pre-register for programs and farm visits.

You can do that here.

The Story Walk is open every day and is a self-guided tour again this year.

They even have a summer league for disc golfers.
