Castine, Maine, on the coast is so charming, it was just voted the best small town in the Northeast.

Massachusetts residents are plenty well aware that there are plenty of small towns throughout the state that are very aesthetically pleasing. Maybe we lucked out being here. It just so happens that recently one of those small towns had the distinguished honor of being named the most beautiful town in Massachusetts. And if you've been there, you probably understand why. It's kind of one of those if you know, you know things.

Now that we're just about to officially start Spring, it's the perfect time to check out the culture around you in Massachusetts. If you're seeking somewhere to take in plenty of the surrounding culture but without the big city feel, it just so happens that one of those spots that do all that is much closer than you might think in Massachusetts. Not only is known as a great cultural spot in the state, or even throughout New England, but it's one of the best small town cultural scenes in the country.

Massachusetts definitely has a reputation for being the home for some charming small towns. Typically they get recognized as having one or a few of the best and/or most charming small towns in the New England region, or maybe even throughout the country. But what about in the world? Yep, it seems that the Bay State is where you will find a small town that has recently been named as one of the most charming small towns in the world.

If there's one thing that clearly stands out about Massachusetts, it's that we have some absolutely fantastic small towns! Now that we are getting closer to the Spring months, while it's definitely a great time to plan a fun road tip anywhere in Massachusetts, we also have found out which small town, out of all the great ones throughout the state, is the absolute "coolest" small town. When you find out what it is, you really can't even question it.

There is no question that Massachusetts has a vast wealth of history. Some of the U.S.'s greatest historic moments have taken place right here in the Bay State. It's certainly only fitting that one of our most prominent museums, which happens to be at in an equally as historic location, would get recognition among the best small town museums throughout the U.S.

If you live anywhere in New England and you have at the very least been through Massachusetts, if there is one thing you know about the Bay State, it's that we have some absolutely amazing small towns! Now that we are in the midst of Fall, when it's always a great time to take a fun road tip anywhere in Massachusetts, we also have found out which small town, out of all the great ones throughout the state, is the absolute coolest small town. When you find out what it is, you really can't even question it.
