Data used to compile average expenses vs. yearly income produced a list, state-by-state, of what it actually costs to live that true American Dream.

This Maine town pays an average of $2547 per month on bills, the most out of any city or town in the state.

New data shows that in 2024, Maine is projected to have the second-highest electric bills in the country.
