You know, sometimes stories come along in the news and in my life that are just not normal. And, I shake my head!

Who, who, who, knew!

According to Channel 7 News in Boston, a routine oil change at a Pep Boys in Salem, New Hampshire turned into a wildlife rescue. When the workers lifted the hood of a car to do their job, they found an Eastern Screech Owl warming his bootie on the engine. The owl, who was lovingly named Shazzam, was just hanging out on the engine without a care in the world. Police were called and Shazzam was gently taken off his warm perch, and brought to a wildlife rehab to rest up. The owner claimed he had no idea that an owl set up shop in his car engine. Police believe the owl was either looking to stay toasty or chasing a mouse for dinner. So stinkin cute!
