If you love playing cornhole, there's a new place in the Lewiston Mall that you'll probably be calling your second home.

Sliders Sports Pub is now open in the former location of Hibachi Super Buffet in the Lewiston Mall and has over 9000 square feet for cornhole, a bar, restaurant seating, and a menu full of delicious pub food.

And if that weren't enough, there's even a stage for live music and other events. Slider's first band is booked for Friday, September, 22 with Buckfield, Maine-based Skösh.

But let's get back to the cornhole, shall we?

Cornhole has gained popularity over the past few decades. Similar to horseshoes, you too bean bags onto a board with hopes of getting it to land in the hole. Sliders takes their cornhole seriously with their very own cornhole pro shop, where you can buy cornhole bags and boards and other cornhole-related merch.

And what's cornhole without a delicious adult beverage or two. They pretty much go hand and hand, and Sliders had a full service bar to take care of that for you.

Sliders Sports Pub grand opening to the public was on September 15 and to say it was a success would be an understatement.

A post on Sliders Facebook page announced on Monday that between the grand opening on Friday and closing for the day on Sunday, patrons cleaned them out of food, which means they were packed, which they say was "A good problem to have."

Sliders Sports Pub is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
