According to the Press Herald, someone is dumping bags of dirty adult diapers along routes 9, 115 and 231.

It's so bad, that the town is asking for the public's help.

North Yarmouth put on their Facebook page the problem. It's so bad that public works crews have been cleaning up bags of these dirty diapers at lease two to three times a week!

Uh, that's a lot of dirty diapers.

North Yarmouth also posted reminders that littering is a civil offense with a fine of anywhere from 100 dollars to 500 dollars. They also have in their post,

...subsequent offenses can be fined between $500 and $1,000 (for litter that’s less than 15 pounds or 27 cubic feet).

1,000 dollars? This is a crazy story! North Yarmouth wants you to BOLO! (be on the lookout) for who is dumping the diapers!

Don't want to be a rat? Then feel free to call anonymously at the tip line for the Cumber County Sheriff's office at 207-774-1444 ext 2208.

This is just ridiculous...let's catch the diaper dumper!
