Shooting In Scarborough Walmart Parking Lot

According to WGME there have been shots fired in the parking lot of the Scarborough Walmart.

Police have a suspect in custody and there is one victim whose condition is unknown. Police aren't releasing the names of those involved as of yet . Witnesses report hearing five gunshots and hearing a person yell that they had been shot.

Shoppers were kept inside the store for their own safety but have since been allowed to leave though state police remain onsite investigating.

A witness told News Center Maine that two people were loading groceries into a white pick up truck when someone approached and shot at them. One person was reportedly taken away by ambulance and their injuries are unknown.

Walmart has reopened and the suspect is in custody.
