Send Cards To A Falmouth WWII Veteran Who Turns 102 This Month
According to a post by Joy Lewis Asuncion, this sweet and remarkable fella is celebrating a very big birthday. His name is Ralph Bonville of Falmouth, Maine and he turns 102 in January.
Now, we know there isn't much left to this month as we will be flipping the calendar to February this coming Monday. However, we don't think he would mind one bit if his mailbox continues to fill up beyond his birthday month.
How would you like to help put more great smiles on Ralph's face? You can.
Joy sent out the message this week that Ralph "would love to receive cards from you!"
"Meet Ralph World War II U.S Army Veteran who served from 1945-1946 in the Pacific Theater in Tokyo Japan. Ralph worked for General Douglas McArthur in the message center. Ralph is a founding member of the Falmouth Maine American Legion Post #164 and has been a member for 76 years. Ralph was selected as the Falmouth Citizen of the Year on his 100th Birthday. He is an Honor Flight Maine Alumni."
It really is the least we can do to show our appreciation for his bravery and service.
Let's do this!
Help us spread the word. Let's use the powerful size of the our audience (you guys) and make this a celebration that will fill him with lots of love from all over.
Be part of making Ralph's 102nd birthday, his best one yet.
