In a live-video posted over the weekend by Red Barn owner, Laura Benedict, she goes on to explain some of the changes her loyal customers can expect to see this season.

Laura begins the video by explaining that everything she is about to say has been thought about, and even though it might 'piss people off', needs to be talked about.

She then goes on to explain that the quality of food and service that customers have come to expect from the Red Barn, will still be the same this year as it always has been since its inception in 1977.

However, with the upcoming opening for the season of the original Riverside Drive, Augusta location, there will be some menu changes due to rising costs and product availability, most notably, no seafood stew this year.

Another thing customers will notice, is the the Red Barn will be preparing their delicious meals out of mobile kitchens as their 4,000 square foot 'barn' building isn't affordably efficient to run. Laura explains in the video that the barn was actually used as a barn in its past life and housed cows.

The two mobile kitchens will each be 200 square feet and staffed with 5 people each. Customers will still get to enjoy the atmosphere of the Riverside Drive Red Barn location too, as Laura promises that she will once again be creating beautiful masterpieces with her gardens and flowers.

For more information on the upcoming changes, check out the video posted Sunday on the Red Barn Facebook Page.
