
Lewiston, Maine’s Most Meaningful Motorcycle Ride Returns Soon
It’s simply amazing to see something that started as a tough personal journey grow into such a powerful and long lasting tradition that heals hundreds each year.
The 9th Annual Ride for Suicide Awareness, also know as Pain to Power is more then riding your motorcycle with a group of buddies, it has become, a movement.
The ride is happening at LA Harley-Davidson in Lewiston on Sunday, August 10th. It starts at 10:00am, kickstands up at noon.
A movement of like minded folks who have all endured the unimaginable loss of suicide. This was born from grief for Nick Danforth, after losing a father to suicide.
The ride was created as a way to heal and it’s a place where heartache became home. Riders and families will come together and not only honor their loved ones but also raise awareness for a cause surrounded by stigma.
Pain to Power: A Ride for Healing, Hope, and Suicide Awareness
This group of individuals are desperately sending out the message that no one is ever alone.
Every year, people from all walks of life share their stories, and because of that have created a place where healing is possible.
This ride through Lewiston has become a ride of solidarity and they ride to stand for those who have fought to still be here and for the ones we’ve lost.
You matter and you are not alone is the sentiment Nick Danforth will never stop echoing.
