Red Barn’s Riverside Drive, Augusta Location Closing For The Season
According to a Sunday morning post on the popular restaurant's Facebook page, today (October 3rd, 2021) will be the last day of the season for the Riverside Drive location.
However, the good news is that fans of the chicken and seafood take-out place will be able to get Red Barn food at their State Street, Augusta location. At that location, they'll be serving chicken and haddock baskets.
They'll be open from 10 AM to 2 PM on Tuesday.
As we've previously reported, they place to serve gluten free options at the State Street location.
The post says, in part:
Today is the last day we will be open for the season! This is not the way we planned to do things, but we will make the best of it. We will be open on State Street on Tuesday from 10-2. We are offering chicken and haddock and will have gluten free on Thursdays. We would love your support! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Love,Laura
In business since the 1970s, the Red Barn is well known not only for their food, but all of money the business gives to charity. Owner Laura does a lot for our military veterans and they frequently host fundraisers for other local charities.
