President Bush Appears In Maine At Celebrity Golf Classic

President George W. Bush made an appearance in Kennebunkport yesterday, to honor his late father, and to raise money for a great local charity. According to WMTW, the 43rd President attended the George H.W. Bush Celebrity Golf Classic at Cape Arundel Golf Club yesterday. The annual event is a fundraiser for Gary's House, which provides a place to stay for families and individuals with loved ones receiving medical treatment in southern Maine.

You may recognize who he's posing with in the picture above...that's my fiancée Kathleen Jordan! She had the opportunity to interview him for WMTW, chat with him, and pose for the picture. Kathleen has always been a fan of his, so she was excited to meet him. She said that he was incredibly warm, and that it was an honor to have the opportunity to spend some time with him.
