It's time to prepare for Blizzard 2015.  The first major snow storm of the year.  94.9 HOM will keep you up to date with storm coverage.  WMTW Chanel 8 meteorologist Matt Zidle gave us a preview of what's to come.

The National Weather Service in Gray, Maine says, "A Blizzard Warning means severe weather conditions are expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout conditions...making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. If you must travel...have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded...stay with your vehicle. Some coastal flooding is also possible."
