Portland Sea Dogs Hosting ‘Star Wars’ Themed Night Saturday And Their Jerseys Are Out Of This World!

There's no questioning the fact that a Portland Sea Dogs game is great family fun and affordable. They certainly know how to keep the fans entertained with Slugger The Sea Dog making his way through the crowd every game. He seems to try and meet as many fans as he can.

Another great thing about the Sea Dogs is they've instituted a 20 second pitch clock, so we don't have to wait 45-50 seconds between pitches, which moves the game right along -- something the MLB is looking into.

My favorite thing, other than a Sea Dogs win, is their theme nights. Like "Bring your dog to Hadlock," "Civil War Night" and "Superhero Night."

This Saturday, August 5th, the Portland Sea Dogs keep theme night going with Star Wars Night and the jerseys the boys will be wearing are imperial... to say the least!

After the game, these jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit Make A Wish Maine.

How cool are these bad boys??
