Portland Flower Show 2014 Details Announced

Mark your calendars!  The dates for the Portland Flower Show have been announced. And the theme for the 2014 show is Storybook Gardens.

On Wednesday, March 5th the 2014 Portland Flower Show will kick off with the Opening Night Gala from 6-9 p.m. Once again, it will be held at the Portland Company Complex on Fore Street in Portland. Advance tickets are on sale now and might make a nice gift for the gardener in your life. The Portland Flower Show is the one event that I attend every year for more years than I count.  Some years I go twice.  I always get excited about the show and this year even more so with the super cold temperatures and heavy snowfall. And I'm loving the theme...two of my favorite things...books & gardens.  I'm already thinking spring and can't wait for the seed catalogs to start arriving.  The attached photos are from the 2013 show.
