Portland Celebrates the Return of the kotzschmar Organ [Audio]

Portland's Kotzschmar Organ has been under repair for the past two years. The revitalized organ is about to have it's unveiling. A full schedule of events is planned.

The historic and massive organ spans 60 feet at the back of the Merrill Auditorium stage. Portland's Municipal Oranganist joined us in the 94.9 HOM studios to talk about the Grand Opening Concert on Saturday, September 27 at 7:30 PM. Other events for the 2014-15 line-up include the First Friday Artwalk on October 3, the Halloween Silent Film Night on October 31 and the 25th Christmas with Cornils on December 23, 2014.
