Looking for a fun 5K run or walk for a great cause that serves up pie when you finish? Um, who isn't?

The Mt Ararat High School Class of 2023 is hosting their first annual Pie 5k Run & Walk on Sunday, October 17 at 9 a.m. and the proceeds benefit the Class of '23.

With the pandemic, it's been a rough year for the Class of '23. None of the usual events they typically hold to raise money of the class have been able to happen for the majority of their high school career. So the 5k Walk & Run is a great way for them to play a little catch up with their fundraising. And did we mention the pie?

The route starts at Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham and travels through neighborhoods around the school. There's even a fun run loop for kids right on school property.

And yeah. Pie!  All runners will receive a slice of pie for their participation, and spectators and supporters can grab a slice for a small donation

Tickets are available through Eventbrite at $25 for adults, $15 for students and $10 for children under 12. Small fees apply from Eventbrite. You want a link to sign up? Thanks for asking.
