Oysters Make My World Go Round
A lot of people I know aren't huge fans of oysters. Something about the texture makes them all kinds of uncomfy. I too used to be a skeptic. However since I have converted to the way of life we call oyster-ism, I am never turning back.
Here are some spots in Maine and NH one can enjoy some of the best oysters the ocean has to offer:
Eventide Oyster Co.
86 Middle St, Portland, ME 04101
Boones Fish House and Oyster Room
86 Commercial St, Portland, ME 04101
The Franklin Oyster House
148 Fleet St, Portsmouth, NH 03801
Row 34
5 Portwalk Pl, Portsmouth, NH 03801
If you haven't tried oysters in awhile I would suggest giving them another whirl. Perhaps your pallet has changed! For me there is nothing more refreshing than fresh oysters in the Summertime. And how lucky am I to have all these places that serve the best of the best right at my finger tips? Bring on the oysters!
