The National Weather Service Space Weather Prediction Center has issued a Magnetic Storm Watch  meaning that a northern lights show is possible.A Coronal Mass Ejection from the sun may be headed towards Earth resulting in an aurora borealis. The watch begins on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 8 PM. To keep up to date on the event, you can follow Aurora Alerts on Facebook. The bright moon might interfere with any display, but we'll cross our fingers for a glimpse of the glorious northern lights.
