Meteorologist Keith Carson from WCSH 6 in Portland is predicting that Sunday night might be colorful here in Maine.

We don't often see the Northern Lights in the summer months, and most often associate the beautiful Aurora Borealis with cold nights in the depths of winter. The lights are an atmospheric phenomenon caused by solar winds, and they can happen in the summer months, too.

So this Sunday night (July 16), look up into the night sky and see what you can see! The weather looks clear, too.
