Newington Police Looking for Man Accused of Stealing from Best Buy, Assaulting Person Who Confronted Him

Newington police are looking for the public's assistance in finding a man who allegedly stole thousands in electronics before assaulting someone outside.

According to the police department's Facebook post, the thief took $1,200 worth of electronics from Best Buy on March 23.

But to top that off, the same man then assaulted someone in the parking lot who tried to confront them about the stolen items, the police stated.

The department released a photo of the individual with what looks to be the stolen items as he walks out of the store.

The police noted that he has a ying/yang tattoo on his right hand.
