When Bill's Pizza announced that they were permanently closing their Old Port location in Portland several weeks ago, it left an opening for a new pizzeria to feed the influx of people that will inevitably return this summer. It didn't take long for a business to seize that opportunity, as a new pizzeria and brew pub is set to open this summer in the space left behind by Arabica Coffee at 9 Commercial Street. And it will be a very familiar name to residents of both Yarmouth and Freeport.

According to Portland Food Map, Brickyard Hollow Brewing will be opening a fourth location in Portland, planning to use the same concept they currently use in Freeport, mixing a standard brewpub with a pizzeria. At full capacity, the pizzeria/brewpub will have a capacity of more than 60 people, with a comfortable interior design that fits both concepts.

Brickyard Hollow currently has a diverse pizza menu in Freeport (with another pizza location opening in Yarmouth), featuring creative combinations for both meat and veggie lovers. Their Freeport location also offers protein bowls on the menu, but there is no word if those will also be available at the forthcoming Portland location. They also have rotating beer offerings, from IPAs to stouts to more.

Brickyard Hollow will need a few months to build out their Commercial Street location to fit their vision but are hopeful they can open their doors early-to-mid summer 2021.
