New England Families in Need Are Getting Help from Santa and the United States Postal Service

One of the most amazing things as a child is becoming fully immersed in the Spirit of Christmas -- the magic, the miracles, and when you're a child, unwrapping that one gift you hoped Santa would bring you the most.

But at the same time, one of the most terrifying things as a parent can be not being able to help your child(ren) experience that magic.

Thankfully, in 2021 and with the power of the internet and that Christmas magic we've mentioned a couple times so far, no one has to go it alone, because Santa's elves are here to help.

USPS Operation Santa is now accepting letters for this year's program.

If you're in need of assistance this Christmas season, encourage your children to write letters to Santa Claus ASAP so you can make sure those letters are postmarked by December 10. If their penmanship isn't up to snuff yet, perhaps help them write it so the entire letter, especially the return address, is written very legibly.

Once the list is complete, make sure it's mailed to the following address (with a First Class Mail Forever stamp):

Santa Claus

123 Elf Road

North Pole, 88888

 

Letters will be uploaded through December 15 for adoption.

While unfortunately not all letters are guaranteed to be posted, the letters selected will be uploaded to the USPS Operation Santa website for adoption. Beginning next Monday, November 29, anyone who wants to help those in need will be able to read through letters and select to adopt the ones they love the most. Adopters will help Santa in his efforts to make sure every child across the globe has a memorable Christmas by shopping for what's mentioned in the letter, then wrapping and shipping off what's purchased.
