First things first, I don't think I would ever let Stephen King tell me a bedtime story. Could you imagine what he would think of before you close your eyes and try to have a peaceful night's sleep?

I am already paranoid before going to bed, and no I do not read King's novels prior to tucking myself into bed. By the way, when I say tuck myself in, I mean it. I make sure all appendages are covered, I don't want that nonexistent creature living under my bed to get me. I seriously feel as though if my foot hangs over the edge that something will grab it in the middle of the night. I won't even get started about the closet.

I remember years ago hearing that Stephen King did the same thing, tucking in all appendages so nothing can get him, but yet cannot find it anywhere on the internet (maybe I am not searching well enough).

Could you even imagine the monster that would live under King's bed? Like come on, that would have to be one terrifying monster/demon to scare the famous horror author, Stephen King.

Whether King has something living under his bed or not, he defiantly enjoys writing about things that go bump in the night.

Now, I have never read King's novel Night Shift, but a quote from the book easily describes how I am every night, “The thing under my bed waiting to grab my ankle isn't real. I know that, and I also know that if I'm careful to keep my foot under the covers, it will never be able to grab my ankle.”

Of course, that's not the only story where King writes about a creature that will grab you. No. Forget about his stories for a second, let's just talk about the new Stephen King movie that is coming out in early June 2023, "The Boogeyman."

Not going to lie to you, if you put the producers of "Stranger Things" and Stephen King in a room, something terrifying is created, and that is exactly what "The Boogeyman" is. I mean just check out the trailer below.

It is safe to say with that two-minute trailer, all body parts will be under the covers tonight, the Boogeyman will not get me!
