Good samaritans pulled a man from the water at Sebago Lake on Saturday evening, February 24th, according to WMTW. Hundreds of people were on Sebago Lake for the annual Ice Fishing Derby earlier that day.

The man fell through thin ice in the area of Kettle Cove. His rescuers reportedly used a makeshift rope from extension cords that they tied together. WMTW says the man was not taken to the hospital after emergency crews arrived on the scene.
