People travel from far and wide for a taste of some Maine seafood. That is a fact. Restaurants in every corner of the state specialize in menu items like lobster rolls, fried clams, chowders and of course, the seafood platter. One could reasonably expect to get some oysters or clams as well as some fresh Maine lobster as part of that platter. But one restaurant in Rumford proves that sometimes the lobster can be TOO fresh.

Shared on Facebook by The Lure - American Thai Sushi Seafood, the restaurant was looking to highlight their weekend special and it ended up being one epic fail after another. Let's tackle the obvious first. That lobster and those clams are just a wee bit undercooked for a seafood platter. And by a wee bit, we mean that lobster might attack you and you could spend the entire night at this restaurant trying to get those clams open. We need to speak with the chef.

The second fail was the spelling. While lobster (along with the corresponding emoji) sounds tasty, several commenters worried aloud how a plate a streamers and cron would pair with it. Ultimately, the spelling errors are minor but it's a little reminder as a business to take the extra minute to make sure you've got all your ducks in a row before promoting something.

Now that we've cleared all of that up, who's hungry?
