Maine Needs to Take Notes From This Missouri Sign War
Now before you come after me, I am NOT saying that there is anything wrong with fast food restaurants in Maine and I am not saying that we need more. However, I am saying they could entertain us a little more.
In Missouri there has been an ongoing sign war between a McDonald's and a Dairy Queen (and even other surrounding stores, banks, and restaurants partook in the sign war), and let me tell you, I do not think I have ever laughed so hard. Yes, there have been some sign wars in Maine in the past but who doesn't want to see an ongoing sign war while driving down the road each day?
According to Buzzfeed, McDonald's started this war. I guess you can say that some of the employees had some time on their hands.
And so the sign war begun. Did McDonald's know that so many others would get involved with their sign war? I highly doubt it. However, Dairy Queen was in. Dairy Queen responded to McDonald's by saying, "We would, but we're too busy making ice cream."
Domino's decided to get in on the sign war action as well.
McDonald's reminded Dairy Queen that they too have ice cream.
Dairy Queen responded with the comeback that almost everyone says when McDonald's actually has a working ice cream machine.
Now, it is really "salty" when people are shocked that the ice cream machine is working at McDonald's, because McDonald's certainly thinks that it is.
Dairy Queen was not the only one to make fun of McDonald's broken ice cream machines. Arvest Bank actually chose to join the sign war and go right for McDonald's.
Dairy Queen of course needed to defend themselves and ended up threatening McDonald's.
Oh course, Domino's did not want to be forgotten and still continued to partake in the sign war.
Honestly, driving down the street daily this is something that would keep me entertained. I'm sure it not only would keep drivers entertained, but also workers. We need to spark up another sign war in Maine.
