People will be talking about the Coronavirus pandemic for years to come, especially with so many states taking drastic measures such as emergency orders to shelter in place and the closure of all non-essential businesses.

WalletHub put together a list of the "Most Aggressive States Against The Coronavirus," and Maine is in the top ten. The personal finance website did the 50 states and the District of Columbia, using 46 "unique metrics."

Wallethub's researchers measured things like the total public health emergency preparedness funding per capita, share of at-risk population, and share of population without health insurance coverage.

Maine's rank is number 8, as you can see on the map below. Three other New England states also did well: Rhode Island (2), New Hampshire (4), and Connecticut (6).
