
Maine Has Finally Created an AI Task Force, Here’s What That Actually Means
As we all know, artificial intelligence is no longer just for sci-fi movies, it's real, in our homes, our jobs, our government, it's everywhere. Because of that, Maine has finally created an AI taskforce.
What does that mean? Well, Governor Janet Mills just created what's called the, Maine Artificial Intelligence Task Force.
It's basically a group of people who will help to study, research, and figure out how our state as a whole should handle artificial intelligence and the rise of it across the state.

Think of the whole thing as a brain trust, several experts in this kind of field that will attempt to figure out how AI can help us not hurt us.
And get this, other states are already doing this. It's something that we should already have so it's relieving to hear that this has been put into place.
The amount of artificial intelligence scams that take place each day that prey on the vulnerable is terrible.
Scammers today are smarter then ever even using AI clone voices to trick you.
According to WGME, impersonation scams have jumped terrifyingly high as per The Identity Theft Resource Center.
That report is showing us that AI has given scammers a super upgrade with tools like voice cloning, AI phishing emails and even deep fakes. Because of AI, they're tricks are becoming more and more believable.

The task force wants to come up with smart and practical ways to use AI in every day life and make sure it's safe for everyone.
At the end of the day, we have officially stepped into the future and we need to be prepared for that .We need our jobs protected, our families protected, and our economy protected.
We want to thrive and not suffer as we glide into the techy future.
