Let's all get together and pray for a very cold morning tomorrow!

I honestly can't think of any other time in my life I've said that before. But tomorrow morning, the colder the temperature, the less we'll be paying to catch a ballgame in Portland.

The Portland Sea Dogs just released details of a rather clever promotion, as they gear up for their 2020 season. According to a press release, tomorrow only, fans will pay just a "Dime-A-Degree" for general admission tickets for any home game during the 2020 season.

The price will be based on what the temperature is tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM.

If math isn't your strong suit, here's a little help. Let's say the temperature tomorrow morning at 9 is 35 degrees. That would be pretty sweet, because it would mean that you'd be able to buy your GA Sea Dogs tickets tomorrow for just $3.50 a pop. Wow!

But before you get too excited, let's take a look at the forecast. WMTW's weather team does say that it will feel like 35, but that's not what counts. They're forecasting the actual temperature to be 44 degrees at 9:00 AM. Still, $4.40 is a great deal for a ticket, considering that they're normally $12.

The specially priced tickets will be available at the Hadlock Field ticket office, by phone at 207-879-9500, and online at www.seadogs.com. The Hadlock Field ticket office closes at 5:00 PM for phone and in-person sales. However, the offer will be available online at www.seadogs.com until 11:59 PM on March 4th.
