As I was walking my dogs in Portland on Saturday afternoon, I spotted a strange floating object across the park. As I got closer, I saw a leaf, apparently suspended in mid-air, tossing and turning with every harsh gust of fall wind. The wind and rain was heavy that day but the leaf stayed up in the air. I watched it for about 10 minutes and waved my hands above and below it to see if it was attached to a spider web or something similar, but it stayed attached.

I've deduced that this leaf is floating by magic. Harry Potter is lurking around Munjoy Hill in his invisibility cloak casting the Leviosa charm on leaves to confuse and confound muggles like me.

This floating leaf reminded me of the haunted swing in Norway, Maine. Have you seen any magic or haunted things moving or floating?
