Lady Gaga has been teasing us for months with photos from inside the studio, so we know she's been hard at work on her sixth studio album; however, it sounds like it might be time for a little break — to take a shower.

On Wednesday (December 18), the pop star tweeted a dirty message with her fans, and we don't mean that sexually. "my assistant: when’s the last time you bathed," she wrote. "me: i don’t remember." Mother Monster accompanied the tweet with an LG6 hashtag.

The post got fans all riled up, replying to the "Shallow" singer to release the album already. And honestly, they have good reason to be getting impatient. In August 2017, Gaga told Entertainment Tonight that she had already began writing her followup to 2016's Joanne, stating “I have a lot of ideas and a lot of things I want to create, so you’ll see in a bit. I need some time to create.”

In the years that have passed since she made that comment, we haven't heard any music off the new album, but we do know she's working with producers including BloodPop, Sophie, and Boys Noize, and the album will stand on its own rather than act as a follow-up to any of her previous projects. There also might be collaboration with Grimes, unless she's trolling us.

Whatever LG6 ends up sounding like, we just hope we get to listen to it soon!
