The end of summer brings one last chance for parents to have fun with their children before school starts. One way to have is the Mini Maker Faire in downtown Dover, New Hampshire. The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire is hosting this fifth annual event on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Their Facebook page reports that last year's event featured more than 60 makers and attracted over 1,600 attendees. It's also the only Maker Faire in New Hampshire.

Here's how the Children’s Museum describes their event: "Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth — a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning.

Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters to homesteaders to scientists to garage tinkerers. They are of all ages and backgrounds. The aim of Maker Faire is to entertain, inform, connect and grow this community."

It sounds like a day of fun!
