Justin Timberlake’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Will Reportedly Feature A Prince Hologram
With just one day left until Justin Timberlake's Super Bowl halftime show, excitement for the performance is at an all-time high and rumors about what viewers can expect are all over the place.
While nothing is for certain until the actual performance takes place, TMZ was able to get a sneak peak at JT's run-throughs, including a dress rehearsal that was taped to air on TV if an emergency occurred. Although N*SYNC or Janet Jackson won't be making any appearances with the Man of the Woods singer, Justin does have a Prince tribute planned.
According to the site, as a way to honor The Purple One in his hometown of Minneapolis, Timberlake will have a Prince hologram on stage. While plans can change, TMZ believes an overhaul at this point is unlikely.
Prince, a longtime fan of the Minneapolis Vikings, put on what was arguably the best Super Bowl halftime show at Super Bowl XLI in Miami, Fla. The late singer's set included "We Will Rock You," "Let's Go Crazy," "Proud Mary," "All Along the Watchtower" and more.
The setlist for JT's performance is currently unknown but the behind-the-scenes video reveals "Can't Stop the Feeling" and "Cry Me a River" will be part of the show. The performance will also be full of fireworks
Super Bowl LII airs live on NBC at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 4). Check out a sneak peak of Justin Timberlake's performance below.
