Junkin’ And Pickin’ In Southern Maine: Where Is Your Honey Hole?
I'm still sad every time I drive by the empty building on Rt.1 in Scarborough that used to house Cliff's. It was my favorite place to wander, finding treasures and bits and bobbles for my crafting. It was a good day when I could carve out an hour to unplug and drift through Cliff's. I stop by the indoor Flea Market on Rt.1 in Scarborough sometimes. It's okay, but it's not Cliff's. I grew up going to the Scarborough Downs and Cascade Flea Markets almost every weekend and I still have some things that I picked up. A couple years ago, I passed on a garnet ring to my niece, that I bought in the eighth grade!
I continue my search for honey holes to explore. Where do you go? Share your sweet spot with us on our Fan Page.
