John Tesh’s Facebook-athon Will Collect Supplies For Healthcare Heroes
94.9 HOM is proud to be a part of John Tesh's Facebook-athon for healthcare heroes. His "Healthcare Worker Relief Fund" is going live this Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. our time. Tesh will be joined by his wife, Connie Sellecca and son, Gib Gerard for a six-hour live broadcast on his Facebook page in order to raise money for America’s healthcare providers.
According to Tesh's Facebook, 100% of the proceeds will be used to make care packages for the people who are sacrificing their own health and working very long hours to treat patients with COVID-19.
Tesh and company are going to provide insight into the pandemic as well as some coping skills. They will talk to healthcare professionals and share "up-close and personal stories from the front lines." Gib Gerard also interviewed Nikki to share her thoughts about how the coronavirus crisis is affecting people who live in New England.
