This New Hampshire Fashion Show Is All About Women Lifting Each Other Up

Supporting women in any industry is POWERFUL. But in the creative world, where collaboration and representation matter so deeply, it can be transformational.

Ever since becoming an actor, uplifting other women has been an essential part of how I move through the industry. It’s why I proudly serve as vice president of the Lois Weber Film Festival, championing women in film (past, present, and future) while helping create opportunities for female storytellers and creatives to be seen, supported, and celebrated.

That same spirit of women supporting women is exactly why the upcoming Good Company Fashion Show resonates with me so strongly. Taking place May 20th in Portsmouth, New Hampshire (it's the third annual one by the way!), this fashion show is a celebration of female entrepreneurship, connection, and community impact.

Created through a partnership between women-led brands Wild Ivory and Rivet Collective, Good Company was built on the belief that when women intentionally come together, they can create meaningful change. Since launching in 2022, the event has continued to grow into a powerful community experience that uplifts local businesses while encouraging women to show up authentically for one another.

This year’s proceeds will benefit the Victoria's Victory Foundation, founded by Victoria Arlen (the Exeter native, Paralympic gold medalist, author, and TV host), who has dedicated her platform to empowering individuals living with mobility disabilities. Incredible!

Not to mention all of the models walking this year are all female business owners!

At a time when genuine community matters more than ever, events like Good Company remind us how impactful women uplifting women can truly be.
