Several New Hampshire restaurants announced their permanent closures in January and February 2026.

And yet, there were a few spots that offered a glimmer of hope, either by relocating to a new place, rebranding to something different but with shades of the original, or having a few other locations elsewhere.

Interestingly, a good number of the closures were from establishments that have been around for more than a decade, which hold a lot of memories for both the workers and the customers.

What New Hampshire Restaurants Closed in January 2026?

The longstanding Mall at Fox Run in Newington, New Hampshire, closed on January 31, 2026, a spot that served up decades of memories for many, including family trips, hanging out with friends, and simply enjoying the latest shopping finds.

Of course, a mall trip wouldn't be complete without checking some of the food options there, and two remained until the final days: Roman Delights Pizza and Sarku Japan.

One person shared on the Facebook group Seacoast Eats, "As the mall finally gets demolished, I hope the people that quietly provided so many of us with childhood memories and nostalgia find another place to land. Thank you for the years of familiarity, comfort, and consistently great pizza."

Thanks for the memories, Fox Run Mall.

What New Hampshire Restaurants Closed in February 2026?

As for February, there were numerous spots that ended their stories.

That included national chains like IHOP in Bedford, New Hampshire, which quietly closed its doors in February.

WMUR reported that just a few years ago, in 2024, the Newington IHOP closed its doors after 24 years.

Now, only three IHOPs remain in the Granite State.

Then there were local spots like Gallivant Global Eatery, which opened in Dover in 2023, sharing that it would be closing on February 15.

The owner posted on Facebook the announcement, taking time to reflect on the work, the experience, the people, and the end of this particular chapter.

Take a look at some of the other restaurants that closed in New Hampshire, including some of the reasons and some of the changes coming from them.
