Excited for Mini Golf? Check Out These Must-Play Courses in Maine

There are four words in the English language that, when combined correctly, create one of the most wonderful phrases ever uttered by modern man:

Golf Season Is Here.

You're darn right it is. And while Maine’s public and private courses are rushing to get starved golfers outside, another industry is ramping up as well.

The Maine miniature golf season is just about to get underway. Courses across the state are gearing up for what should be an amazing year.

Maine Has a Wonderful Miniature Golf Legacy

I've always had a soft spot for mini golf. It's such a fun activity and brings back memories of many great rounds with family and friends. I remember playing a ton as a kid, especially at Westerly Winds (RIP) in Westbrook, Pirate's Cove in Old Orchard Beach, and Steamboat Landing in Naples.

Sadly, I haven’t played as much in recent years. But I’m hoping to change that this summer. My goal is to hit at least three or four new courses—it seems like the perfect motivation to get back out on the greens. While searching for new places to play, I ended up doing a deep dive across the whole state.

Maybe my real goal is to play all of them.

Where to Play Miniature Golf in Maine

Below is a list of all the active mini golf courses we could find in Maine. Many of these courses are well-known and have been around for a while, but there are some newer locations too. It’s also neat to see a few mini golf courses attached to traditional golf courses—always a fun contrast when the two are side by side.
