New England is about to enter tourist season. People will come to the Northeast on vacation to see all of the sights, do some shopping, and have some fun. But which of the cities in New England are the most fun? How do you even measure that?

There's always a formula that someone creates to figure these things out. How accurate they are with this formula can always be questioned, but it does put things in perspective for New England with how it compared to the rest of America for its fun cities. What makes a city "fun"? WalletHub says it's a place that offers a little bit of everything for everyone.

They compared 182 cities (which included the 150 most populated U.S. cities), along with at least two of the most populated cities in each state. They looked at entertainment and recreation, nightlife and parties, and how much it costs in each of the cities they included in the data. It goes much deeper than that, so if you'd like to see more of the methodology, hit this link right here.

All six New England states have two cities that made the list of most fun cities in America. That's part of WalletHub's formula for determining fun states. The two largest cities in each state are included.

Spoiler alert: Las Vegas was the #1 most fun city in America. Duh.

Here's where the 10 cities in New England placed.
