A Dunkin Drive Thru in Maine Was Packed With People on Horseback
Dunkin Donuts Locations
It goes without saying that Dunkin is an absolute institution throughout the New England. If you ask New Englanders their preferred spot to snag either a couple of hot or iced coffee, a cold brew, or even a bagel, bagel sandwich, or donut, most will say Dunkin.
And they'll probably also toss a "duh" at the end of it, because, again, you're in New England. New England and Dunkin have just always gone hand-in-hand for decades.
In fact, to the shock of no one, Dunkin is so popular throughout New England that even taking a quick snapshot of an area -- in the case above, between Portland, Maine, and Falmouth, Maine, there are Dunkin locations all over, including some right down the street from another.
However, customers of one Dunkin in particular were treated to an unexpected show as they pulled up on Saturday, April 13.
Dunkin Corinth Maine
Customers pulling into the Dunkin location in Corinth, Maine, on Main Street were treated to a very unexpected sight, when, instead of a line of cars approaching the drive thru window for their order, it was, instead, a line of people on horseback.
Naturally, since so many things we scroll through on social media now are either photoshopped or AI-generated, there were tons of responses asking if this was a legit thing that happened.
Those questions were quickly answered by one of the Dunkin employees, Anghy Snow, posting video she took while working the drive thru window showing the line of trusty steeds and their jockeys (which can be found in the comments section of the original post.)
DK Drifter Ranch Maine
According to the woman who made the original post of the sighting to the Dunkin' World group on Facebook, Kathleen King, the horses were from the nearby DK Drifter Ranch, also on Main Street in Corinth.
For those unfamiliar, the DK Drifter Ranch is an equestrian center that specializes in boarding, training, riding lessons, horse sales, groundwork and confidence building, according to its official Facebook page.
Tons more about the DK Drifter Ranch, their "Tipsy Drifters," and more pictures Kathleen took of all the action at the drive thru can be checked out here.
