If you grew up in the 80s and were lucky enough to have parents paying for HBO, you probably remember watching the very popular Fraggle Rock produced by legendary Muppet master Jim Henson. It ran for five seasons from 1983 to 1987 and was hugely successful.

35 years later in 2022, Fraggle Rock made an unexpected return on Apple TV with a new title: Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. It has aired two seasons with 27 episodes including one Christmas episode. And yes, it has the same theme song you know and love.

Now Fraggle Rock has its own, live stage show, appropriately named Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock LIVE, and it's coming to Portland's Merrill Auditorium.

Jim Henson’s musical, fun-loving Fraggles are dancing their cares away across North America in Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock LIVE, the first-ever live touring show based on The Jim Henson Company’s beloved franchise.

The Fraggles have legs in this show and will walk around the stage. Gobo, Red, Mokey, Wembley, and Boober Fraggle discover the legend of the Celebration Stone, "an ancient Fraggle treasure that has the power to bring everyone together for the greatest party of all time, but was shattered and lost generations ago."

The show is family-friendly, and many parents who grew up with Fraggle Rock will love it as much as their kids.

Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock LIVE will be at Merrill Auditorium on Saturday, April 5, 2025 with shows at 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. It's still months away, but you can buy your tickets now to make sure you get your seats to the show at PortTix.com.
