We love a good hidden gem. Apparently, Maine has a few hidden gems in the form of small cities. And according to this dude on YouTube, not many people know about them. I love this guy's enthusiasm, but I'm willing to bet that at least some Mainers know about these towns. However, I do see where he's coming from. Let's dive in.

The first Maine city he mentions is Wiscasset. Now, this city is home to the infamous, larger-than-life lobster roll you'll have to wait in line 30 minutes to get. It's called Red's Eats, and I've only been a few times, but it's absolutely worth the wait. You get SO much lobster for your buck.

The second city YouTube dude mentions is Blue Hill. I'm not going to lie, this is the one I'd believe not many people know about over Wiscasset. According to Tripadvisor, "The Blue Hill Peninsula is a back-roads paradise". This place sounds like its own hidden gem if you're looking for some private hiking or walking trails. Fun!

The third city YouTube man mentions is Rockport. This is an interesting pick, considering I've heard of Rockport, my co-workers have all heard of Rockport, and I'm assuming you have heard of this town too. According to rockportmaine.gov, this community has a longstanding reputation of being an "artist's community".
